A baked spaghetti casserole layering Alfredo-coated noodles with a robust meat sauce and melted mozzarella—a creamy, cheesy, and comforting DIY TikTok favorite.
Ingredients
450 g (1 lb) spaghetti
1 jar (15 oz / ~450 g) Alfredo sauce
450 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning (dried)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 jar (32 oz / ~900 g) pasta (spaghetti) sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Cook spaghetti until al dente, drain, and toss with Alfredo sauce.
- Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chili flakes in a skillet until beef is no longer pink.
- Reduce heat and stir in pasta sauce, simmering 5–10 minutes to blend flavors.
- Grease a 13×9‑inch baking dish. Spread Alfredo-coated spaghetti evenly in the dish, then top with meat sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbling and cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes, then garnish with chopped basil, red pepper flakes (if using), and Parmesan. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use other pasta shapes like penne or rigatoni if preferred.
- Drain spaghetti thoroughly and coat with Alfredo to prevent sogginess.
- Let dish rest before cutting for cleaner slices.
- Make meat sauce ahead for quicker assembly.
- Freeze unbaked dish; bake after thawing for best freshness.
