Description

Strawberry Jello Fluff Salad is a creamy, fruity, and delightful dessert that’s perfect for any gathering or special occasion. Made with vanilla pudding, strawberry jello, Cool Whip, mini marshmallows, and fresh strawberries, this sweet salad is light, fluffy, and full of flavor. It’s easy to make, refreshingly sweet, and always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

For the Salad:

4.6 ounces cook and serve vanilla pudding mix (use cook and serve, NOT instant pudding)

6 ounces strawberry jello (2 boxes)

3 cups water

16 ounces Cool Whip (about half a container), thawed overnight in the fridge

10 ounces mini marshmallows (about 4 cups)

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the pudding and jello: In a medium saucepan, add the vanilla pudding mix, strawberry jello mix, and 3 cups of water. Stir everything together. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir.
  2. Chill the mixture: Pour the jello and pudding mixture into a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 4-6 hours, or until it thickens.
  3. Beat the mixture: Once thickened, use a hand mixer to beat the mixture until it’s creamy and smooth.
  4. Fold in the Cool Whip: Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a spatula until fully incorporated and fluffy.
  5. Add marshmallows and strawberries: Fold in the mini marshmallows and sliced fresh strawberries gently.
  6. Chill until serving: Keep the salad in the fridge until ready to serve. It’s best served chilled for a refreshing treat!

Notes

  • Different Fruit: Swap the strawberries for other fruits like raspberries, blueberries, or pineapple for a different twist.
  • Add Nuts: For some added crunch, fold in chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts.
  • Lighter Version: Use sugar-free pudding mix, sugar-free jello, and light Cool Whip to make this a lighter version of the classic salad.
