Ingredients
1/8 cup granulated sugar
1/8 cup strawberry syrup
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 cup white chocolate chips
Strawberry powder, for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine egg yolk, sugar, whipping cream, and strawberry syrup; stir constantly until the mixture reaches 50 °C (122 °F).
- Remove from heat, add white chocolate chips, and whisk until smooth and fully melted.
- Divide the mixture between two small cups or ramekins (about 8×8×5 cm each).
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (at least 6 hours) until set.
- Before serving, chill cups for 15 minutes, then dust tops with strawberry powder.
Notes
- Use milk or dark chocolate instead of white for a richer flavor.
- Fold in crushed freeze-dried strawberries for extra texture.
- Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a mint sprig.
