Description

Smashburger Quesadillas combine the savory, juicy flavors of a smash burger with the crispy, melty goodness of a quesadilla. Packed with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and customizable toppings, these quesadillas are the perfect handheld snack or quick dinner that’s sure to impress.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

Salt, pepper, and garlic powder (to season)

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese

Optional: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving


Instructions

  • Prepare the Beef:

    • Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

  • Cook the Beef:

    • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.

    • Press a small handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla, pressing it down to form a thin patty.

    • Cook the beef side down for 2-3 minutes until browned and crispy.

  • Assemble the Quesadilla:

    • Flip the beef patties and sprinkle each with shredded cheese.

    • Fold the tortilla in half over the beef and cheese.

  • Grill the Quesadilla:

    • Grill both sides of the quesadilla for about 2-3 minutes each, until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.

 

  • Serve:

    • Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve with your favorite burger toppings like pickles, diced onions, or burger sauce for dipping.

Notes

Cheese Options: Use Swiss, pepper jack, or a cheese blend for a different flavor.

Burger Toppings: Add lettuce, tomatoes, or bacon inside the quesadilla for a complete “smash burger” experience.

Spicy Kick: Add sliced jalapeños or hot sauce for some heat.
