Description

Juicy beef patties studded with fresh jalapenos, topped with melting Swiss cheese and crisp veggies—all nestled in toasted brioche buns. A bold, easy summer burger that’s spicy, cheesy, and utterly addictive.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

4 slices Swiss cheese

2 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped (seeds removed for milder heat)

4 burger buns (brioche recommended)

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, sliced

Condiments: ketchup, mustard, or spicy mayo, as desired

Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Mix ground beef, chopped jalapenos, salt, and pepper. Form into four 1-inch thick patties.
  3. Grill or sear patties 4–5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  4. During last minute, top each patty with Swiss cheese and cover to melt.
  5. Lightly butter buns and toast until golden.
  6. Assemble burgers: bottom bun, lettuce, tomato, cheesy jalapeno patty, condiments, and top bun.
  7. Serve immediately with preferred sides.

Notes

  • Adjust jalapeno seeds for heat level.
  • Substitute cheese or buns as desired.
  • Avoid pressing patties while cooking to keep them juicy.
  • Use a grill pan indoors if needed.
