Description

These Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars are a simple and wholesome snack—sweetened with honey and bound by creamy peanut butter. With just three ingredients, they’re chewy, crunchy, and perfect for lunchboxes, snacking, or a quick energy boost.

Ingredients

½ cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

½ cup honey

4 cups plain Cheerios

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt peanut butter and honey together until smooth (about 30 seconds) or use a stovetop over low heat.
  2. Pour mixture over Cheerios in a large bowl. Stir until evenly coated.
  3. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with parchment paper. Press mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.
  4. Refrigerate 30–60 minutes until set.
  5. Lift out, slice into bars, and serve. Store covered in the fridge.

Notes

  • Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
  • Add mini chocolate chips, raisins, or nuts for extra flavor.
  • Shape into bite-sized balls instead of bars for energy bites.
  • Dip knife in warm water before cutting for clean slices.
