Description

These adorable OREO Snowmen are a fun and festive treat perfect for winter holidays and parties. Made with white fudge-covered OREO cookies, sugar-coated orange carrot noses, and detailed with a black food coloring marker for eyes and smiles, these snowmen are as delightful to make as they are to eat.

Ingredients

Oreos and Coating

  • 12 white fudge-covered OREO Cookies

Carrot Noses

  • 2 orange slices
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Decorations

  • 1 black food coloring marker

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cookies: Use a sharp knife to shave off any excess white chocolate along the edges of your white fudge-covered OREO cookies to give a smooth base for the carrot noses.
  2. Cut the Carrot Noses: Using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife, cut 12 small teardrop shapes from the orange slices to resemble carrots for the noses of the snowmen.
  3. Sugar Coat the Noses: Leave one flat side of each orange teardrop a little sticky, then coat the other sides with sugar to create a frosted effect.
  4. Attach the Noses: Stick each sugar-coated orange carrot shape onto the white OREO cookie, positioning it just a little above the middle to represent the snowman’s nose.
  5. Draw the Eyes and Smile: Use the black food coloring marker to draw two small coal-shaped eyes and a smile made up of seven tiny coal dots on each cookie to complete your snowman face.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Arrange your OREO Snowmen on a festive plate and serve immediately for a fun, sweet winter treat.

Notes

  • Use a black edible food-safe marker to ensure safe decoration on cookies.
  • If white fudge-covered OREOs are not available, you can substitute with white chocolate-coated sandwich cookies.
  • Orange slices should be fresh and firm for easy cutting and sticking.
  • For a non-sticky option, use a small dab of melted white chocolate to attach the carrot noses.
  • Store the finished snowmen in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
