Description

No Bake Cornflake Bars are chewy, crunchy, and perfectly sweetened with peanut butter and honey. Made with oats, cornflakes, and finished with a drizzle of chocolate, these bars are a quick, no-bake treat ideal for snacks, lunchboxes, or a light dessert.

Ingredients

120 g peanut butter

100 g honey

50 g butter

100 g oats

60 g cornflakes

25 g chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Melt peanut butter, honey, and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats and cornflakes.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over oats and cornflakes, stirring to coat well.
  4. Press mixture firmly into a lined square dish.
  5. Freeze for 45 minutes to set.
  6. Melt chocolate and drizzle over the top.
  7. Cut into 12 slices and serve.

Notes

  • Swap peanut butter for almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter.
  • Add dried fruits such as raisins or cranberries.
  • Mix in chocolate chips or coconut flakes for variety.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for a different flavor.
  • For a richer treat, spread a thicker layer of melted chocolate instead of just a drizzle.
