- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Boil 8 ounces of linguine noodles al dente following the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles well and set them aside.
- Brown the beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound of lean ground beef and cook, crumbling the meat as it browns for 5-7 minutes, or until no longer pink. Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for an additional minute to release the garlic’s aroma.
- Prepare and add the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together ½ cup packed brown sugar, ½ cup soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, ½ teaspoon ground ginger, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and 2 tablespoons cornstarch until smooth. Pour this sauce mixture over the cooked ground beef in the skillet and simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Combine noodles and beef: Add the cooked linguine noodles to the beef and sauce mixture in the skillet. Toss everything together thoroughly so the noodles are evenly coated with the delicious sauce and beef.
- Garnish and serve: Transfer the Korean beef noodles to plates or a serving dish and garnish generously with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for a flavorful and attractive finish.
