Description
Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are a low-carb, gluten-free twist on a classic sandwich. With melted Monterey Jack cheese as the wrap, they’re filled with juicy ground beef, sautéed onions, peppers, and creamy cheese for a guilt-free, delicious meal.
Ingredients
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
16 oz ground beef
½ medium onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 oz cream cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook beef mixture: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once browned, add onions and bell peppers. Cook until veggies are soft (5–7 minutes). Drain excess grease.
- Season and add cheese: Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in cream cheese until fully melted and combined. Remove from heat.
- Make cheese circles: On the lined baking sheet, create 8 circles of shredded cheese (about ¼ cup each), spaced at least 2 inches apart. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp around the edges.
- Assemble roll-ups: Let cheese cool for 1 minute. Add 2 tablespoons of beef mixture to each cheese circle and roll up. Let sit for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a more authentic experience, use thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin instead of ground beef.
- For added flavor, include mushrooms or jalapeños.
- Try provolone or mozzarella cheese for different flavor profiles.
