Ingredients
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup diet cola
1 tablespoon simple syrup (recipe below)
⅛ teaspoon orange extract
For the Simple Syrup:
¼ cup Swerve sweetener
¼ cup water
Optional Garnish:
Lemon slice
Orange zest (for extra orange flavor)
Instructions
- Make the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the water and Swerve sweetener. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sweetener dissolves completely. Set aside to cool.
- Prepare the cocktail: In a shaker bottle or small pitcher, combine the lemon juice, diet cola, 1 tablespoon of the simple syrup, and orange extract. Stir or shake well to combine.
- Serve: Fill two tall glasses with ice and pour the cocktail mixture over the ice. Adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if desired.
