Keto Dalgona Coffee is a sugar-free twist on the viral whipped coffee trend. Made with instant coffee, a keto-friendly sweetener, and almond or coconut milk, it’s a creamy, frothy, and rich coffee drink that fits perfectly into your low-carb lifestyle.
Ingredients
2 tbsp instant coffee
2 tbsp granulated or powdered sweetener (suitable for keto, such as erythritol or monk fruit)
2 tbsp boiling water
2 cups almond milk or coconut milk
2 cups ice cubes
½ tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate shavings to decorate (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine instant coffee, sweetener, and boiling water. Using a hand mixer on medium speed, beat for about 2 minutes until stiff peaks form.
- In a glass, add ice cubes and pour in almond milk (or coconut milk). Stir in vanilla extract.
- Spoon the whipped coffee mixture over the cold milk and ice, creating a frothy layer on top.
- For a decorative touch, sprinkle chocolate shavings on top. Stir the whipped coffee into the milk and enjoy!
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, coconut milk, or another plant-based milk of your choice.
- Spice it up by adding cinnamon, nutmeg, or caramel or hazelnut extract.
