Description

A creamy, frozen matcha milkshake made in a high-efficiency slushie maker—blending dairy richness with earthy green tea for a refreshing, indulgent treat.

Ingredients

For 23 servings: 2 cups whole milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1/4 cup warm water, 15 g matcha powder

For 45 servings: 3 cups whole milk, 1½ cups heavy cream, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, 30 g matcha powder

For 68 servings: 4 cups whole milk, 2 cups heavy cream, 4 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 3/4 cup warm water, 45 g matcha powder

Instructions

  1. In a blender or bowl, whisk whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, warm water, and matcha powder until completely smooth and lump-free.
  2. Pour the mixture into the slushie maker vessel through the liquid inlet.
  3. Press On/Off and select Milkshake mode; the machine will set the optimal freezing temperature.
  4. Optionally adjust thickness to five bars for extra creaminess, then press Start/Stop to begin.
  5. When the machine beeps, dispense the shake into glasses.
  6. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream or a light dusting of matcha powder, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use sweetened matcha powder to reduce added sugar.
  • Swap vanilla for almond or coconut extract for a flavor twist.
  • Add a scoop of vanilla or matcha ice cream for richness.
  • Top with white chocolate shavings or whipped coconut cream for variation.
  • Make it dairy-free with oat/almond milk and coconut cream.
