Ingredients
For 2–3 servings: 2 cups whole milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1/4 cup warm water, 15 g matcha powder
For 4–5 servings: 3 cups whole milk, 1½ cups heavy cream, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, 30 g matcha powder
For 6–8 servings: 4 cups whole milk, 2 cups heavy cream, 4 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 3/4 cup warm water, 45 g matcha powder
Instructions
- In a blender or bowl, whisk whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, warm water, and matcha powder until completely smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the mixture into the slushie maker vessel through the liquid inlet.
- Press On/Off and select Milkshake mode; the machine will set the optimal freezing temperature.
- Optionally adjust thickness to five bars for extra creaminess, then press Start/Stop to begin.
- When the machine beeps, dispense the shake into glasses.
- Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream or a light dusting of matcha powder, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Use sweetened matcha powder to reduce added sugar.
- Swap vanilla for almond or coconut extract for a flavor twist.
