Description

This Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is the ultimate comfort food mash-up—crispy, buttery, garlicky bread loaded with melty cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Perfect for an indulgent lunch, cozy dinner, or easy snack.


Ingredients

1 loaf of garlic bread

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 Tbsp softened butter

2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Optional seasonings: red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until smooth.
  2. Slice the garlic bread loaf into thick slices and spread garlic butter on one side of each slice. On the non-buttered side, layer cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet, buttered side down. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the sandwiches and grill until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden on both sides.
  5. Serve warm, sliced in half. Optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning before serving.

Notes

  • Use any melting cheese you prefer, such as Swiss or Monterey Jack.
  • For a vegan version, use dairy-free cheese and vegan butter.
  • For a spice kick, add cayenne or a drizzle of sriracha in the filling.
