Description
A colourful pizza divided into four quarters, each with its own topping—pineapple, mushrooms, chicken, and plain—so everyone gets their favourite slice. Quick, customisable, and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
1 x 23 cm pizza base
1 g tomato purée
2 tomatoes, sliced
50 g ready-grated mozzarella
1 tsp dried Italian mixed herbs
5 g pineapple pieces in natural juice, drained
2 cup or button mushrooms, thickly sliced
25 g cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) or gas mark 6. Place pizza base on a baking sheet.
- Spread tomato purée evenly over the base. Arrange tomato slices on top, sprinkle over half the mozzarella, and add dried herbs.
- Add toppings: first quarter with pineapple, second with mushrooms, third with chicken/turkey, and leave the fourth plain.
- Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella over the pizza. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling. Let cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for a richer taste—pat dry to avoid sogginess.
- Preheat a pizza stone for an extra crispy base.
- Don’t overload toppings to prevent a soggy crust.
- Swap chicken for ham for a Hawaiian twist.
