Description

A comforting casserole that combines tender broccoli, creamy cheddar cheese, and fluffy biscuit pieces—baked to golden perfection. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing dish ideal for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.


Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccaoli florets

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits

1 cup whole milk (or plant-based milk of choice)

3 large eggs

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Chop broccoli into small florets and blanch in boiling water for 2–3 minutes until bright green. Drain thoroughly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth. Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Tear each biscuit into quarters and gently fold into the custard mixture.
  5. Fold in the blanched broccoli until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  8. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
