Description

Crispy Air Fryer Apple Fries are a wholesome sweet snack or dessert—tender apple wedges coated in a lightly spiced, crunchy breadcrumb crust and air-fried until golden, then dusted with sugar. Easy, delicious, and healthier than deep frying!


Ingredients

2 large apples, peeled and sliced into wedges

½ cup all-purpose flour

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp salt

2 large eggs, beaten

1 Tbsp sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380 °F (193 °C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Dip apple wedges into beaten eggs, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Place coated wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with sugar while warm. Serve immediately.
