Ingredients

2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

Salt & pepper, to taste

Flour, for dredging

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter, divided

1 whole head of garlic, cloves peeled

1/2 cup chicken broth or stock

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup heavy/whipping cream

Chopped parsley, optional for garnish


Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make four thinner cutlets. Season with salt and pepper, then dredge lightly in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter, then garlic cloves. Sauté 3–4 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Simmer for about 4 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in cream, then return chicken to skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is heated through.
  6. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm with your favorite sides.
