This creamy cashew hemp latte is a smooth and nutty dairy-free drink, made with homemade cashew-hemp milk and rich espresso. Naturally sweetened with maple syrup and infused with vanilla, it’s a nourishing and energizing alternative to regular lattes.
Ingredients
⅔ cup cashews, soaked for at least 2 hours and drained
3 tablespoons shelled hemp seeds
3 ½ cups water
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons maple syrup
2 cups creamy cashew hemp milk
3 shots espresso
Instructions
- Add soaked cashews, hemp seeds, water, salt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to a high-speed blender.
 - Blend until smooth and creamy.
 - In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of cashew hemp milk with the espresso.
 - Warm gently over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling.
 - Divide into two mugs and serve immediately.
 
Notes
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth.
 - Use honey or agave instead of maple syrup.
 - Make it iced: cool the espresso and cashew hemp milk, then pour over ice.
 - Blend with a teaspoon of cocoa powder for a mocha twist.
 - For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso.
