Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract (for filling)
8 slices thick-cut bread (brioche or Texas toast recommended)
2 large eggs
½ cup milk

2 Tbsp granulated sugar (for egg mix)

Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread on 4 slices of bread and top with remaining slices to form 4 sandwiches.
- In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Heat skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Mix coating sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Press hot French toast into mixture to coat.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce if desired.
