Description

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 cups thinly sliced green cabbage

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbsp minced fresh ginger

¼ cup soy sauce

1 Tbsp oyster sauce

1 Tbsp rice vinegar

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp black pepper

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and pepper to prepare the sauce.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high. Add ground beef and cook 5–7 minutes, breaking it up until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger; cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced cabbage and stir‑fry 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef and cabbage; stir continually for another 2–3 minutes so flavors meld and sauce lightly coats everything.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey, pork, or chicken for beef.
  • Add chili flakes or paste if you prefer heat.
  • Serve with cauliflower rice or in lettuce wraps for a low-carb version.
