This Cantaloupe Sorbet is a refreshing, low-carb treat made with ripe cantaloupe, lemon juice, and sweetener, created effortlessly using the Ninja Creami. It’s a smooth, creamy dessert that’s perfect for hot summer days or whenever you crave a fruity, guilt-free indulgence.
Ingredients
3 cups cantaloupe melon, chopped into chunks
1 tablespoon lemon juice
⅓ cup sugar or sweetener (to taste)
⅓ cup water
Instructions
- Blend cantaloupe chunks, lemon juice, sweetener, and water in a high-speed blender or food processor until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Seal the container with the storage lid and freeze overnight on a level surface.
- The next day, remove the container from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Attach the lid, and select the sorbet button.
- Check the texture after the cycle finishes. If it’s powdery, run it through the cycle again (up to 3 times, but avoid overdoing it to prevent slushy texture).
- Once smooth, spoon into bowls and serve immediately. This recipe makes 2-3 servings.
- Store leftovers in the freezer, smoothing the top, and run it through the Ninja Creami again before serving.
