Description

This Cantaloupe Sorbet is a refreshing, low-carb treat made with ripe cantaloupe, lemon juice, and sweetener, created effortlessly using the Ninja Creami. It’s a smooth, creamy dessert that’s perfect for hot summer days or whenever you crave a fruity, guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

3 cups cantaloupe melon, chopped into chunks

1 tablespoon lemon juice

⅓ cup sugar or sweetener (to taste)

⅓ cup water

Instructions

  1. Blend cantaloupe chunks, lemon juice, sweetener, and water in a high-speed blender or food processor until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  2. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Seal the container with the storage lid and freeze overnight on a level surface.
  3. The next day, remove the container from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Attach the lid, and select the sorbet button.
  4. Check the texture after the cycle finishes. If it’s powdery, run it through the cycle again (up to 3 times, but avoid overdoing it to prevent slushy texture).
  5. Once smooth, spoon into bowls and serve immediately. This recipe makes 2-3 servings.
  6. Store leftovers in the freezer, smoothing the top, and run it through the Ninja Creami again before serving.

Notes

  • Try using other fruits like watermelon, berries, or peaches for variations. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Add mint or a splash of lime juice for extra flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness with low-carb sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol.
  • For smoother texture, add a tablespoon of lemon juice or a little more water before freezing.
