Description

These colorful and festive Cake Balls are made with Funfetti cake mix and frosting, dipped in smooth white candy coating, and topped with rainbow sprinkles—perfect for parties or any celebration.

Ingredients

1 regular package Funfetti cake mix

1 (15.6‑oz) can Funfetti vanilla frosting

1 lb white candy coating, chopped

Rainbow sprinkles or nonpareils, for decoration

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to package instructions in a 13×9-inch pan. Cool completely.
  2. Crumble cooled cake into a large bowl. Mix in the frosting until a dough forms.
  3. Shape mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Chill for 2–3 hours.
  4. Melt white candy coating in microwave-safe bowl, stirring in intervals until smooth.
  5. Dip chilled cake balls into coating using a fork. Shake off excess and place on parchment-lined tray.
  6. Immediately decorate with sprinkles. Let coating set at room temp or in fridge.

Notes

  • Use chocolate cake and frosting for a chocolatey twist.
  • Add flavor extracts like almond or lemon for variation.
  • Roll in crushed nuts or coconut instead of sprinkles.
  • Use different colored candy melts for themed events.
