Description
Creamy burrata nestled among roasted peppers and garlic, finished with fresh basil and a drizzle of aged balsamic—served with crusty baguette for dipping. Simple, colorful, and irresistible.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz) container burrata cheese (typically 2 balls)
5 large bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced into ~¼″ strips
5 garlic cloves, smashed
6 fresh basil leaves, roughly torn
1 Tbsp aged balsamic vinegar or glaze
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
Fresh Italian baguette, for serving
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C). Arrange sliced peppers and garlic cloves on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
 - Roast for ~25 minutes until softened and lightly charred. Let cool or chill for 1 hour.
 - Transfer roasted vegetables and oil to a shallow serving dish. Tear or slice burrata and place in the center.
 - Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or glaze. Scatter torn basil on top. Serve with sliced baguette.

Notes
- Add olives or capers for briny contrast.
 - Include thyme or oregano for an herb twist.
 - Use chili oil or red pepper flakes for heat.
 - Honey can replace balsamic for a sweet finish.
 - Best served fresh; assemble just before serving.
