Description

Burrata Baked Ravioli with Spinach is a hearty baked pasta dish featuring layers of cheese ravioli, savory ground turkey, marinara, fresh spinach, and melty burrata, baked until golden and bubbly for a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

32 oz marinara sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 lb ground turkey (or beef)

Kosher salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

8 oz fresh spinach

24 oz frozen cheese ravioli

8 oz grated mozzarella or Italian cheese blend

8 oz burrata cheese, pulled apart

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for topping

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Reserve 1 cup marinara sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground turkey, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, breaking into small pieces. Stir in remaining marinara and simmer until warm.
  4. Add spinach to skillet and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread 1/2 cup reserved marinara on bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Layer 1/3 of ravioli, 1/3 of turkey-spinach mixture, and some grated cheese. Repeat two more times.
  7. Top with remaining marinara and grated cheese. Distribute burrata evenly over the top.
  8. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Make meat-free by omitting turkey and adding extra veggies like mushrooms or zucchini.
  • Use tortellini instead of ravioli for variation.
  • Add red pepper flakes or spicy sausage for heat.
  • Mix ricotta into layers for extra creaminess.
  • Include fresh basil between layers for herbal flavor.
