Description

A creamy and refreshing limeade made with whole limes and sweetened condensed milk—bright, tangy, and frothy for the perfect summertime sip.

Ingredients

5 limes (or 4 large), scrubbed and quartered, white centers discarded

3¼ cups cold water

3 cups ice

1 (14‑oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

Lime wheels, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Scrub and rinse the limes. Cut into quarters and remove the bitter white pithy core.
  2. Add lime quarters and cold water to a blender. Blend for 1 minute. Strain the mixture and discard pulp.
  3. Rinse blender and return the strained juice. Add ice and sweetened condensed milk. Blend until frothy and smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime wheels. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh, thin-skinned limes for best flavor.
  • Strain the lime blend to reduce bitterness and pulp.
  • Sweetened coconut condensed milk can be used for vegan version.
  • Blend in mint or lime zest for extra flavor.
