Description

Boba Milk Tea with Cream Topping is a deliciously indulgent drink that combines the richness of milk tea with chewy homemade boba pearls, topped with a silky smooth cream and Oreo crumbs for extra flavor.

Ingredients

For the Boba:

60 g brown sugar

80 g water

100 g tapioca flour

For the Milk Tea:

40 g granulated sugar

10 g black tea leaves

500 g milk

For the Cream Topping:

250 g whipping cream

15 g granulated sugar

1 g salt

Oreo biscuits (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Make the Boba:
    1. Prepare the syrup: In a non-stick pan, add 30g of brown sugar and 80g of water. Heat on low until the brown sugar dissolves. Once the water boils, turn off the heat.
    2. Make the dough: Add 100g of tapioca flour to the pan and mix until fully combined. Knead until smooth.
    3. Shape the boba: Roll the dough into strips, cut into pieces, and shape into small balls. Dust with tapioca flour to prevent sticking.
    4. Cook the boba: Boil water, add boba, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Let sit for 15 minutes after they float.
    5. Make the syrup: In another pan, simmer 30g of brown sugar with 30ml water until thick. Rinse the cooked boba and simmer in the syrup for 5 minutes.
  2. Make the Milk Tea:
    1. Brew the tea: Steep 10g black tea leaves in 300ml hot water and strain.
    2. Make the milk tea: In a pan, melt 40g sugar until brown. Add brewed tea and 500g milk, bring to a boil.
  3. Make the Cream Topping:
    1. Whip the cream: Combine 250g whipping cream, 15g sugar, and 1g salt. Whisk until stiff peaks form.
  4. Assemble the Boba Milk Tea:
    1. Layer the drink: Add crushed Oreo biscuits at the bottom of a serving cup.
    2. Add the boba: Spoon the brown sugar-soaked boba pearls on top.
    3. Pour the milk tea: Add milk tea over the boba.
    4. Top with cream: Spoon whipped cream on top and smooth the surface.
    5. Serve: Garnish with more Oreo crumbs and serve immediately!
