Ingredients
Chicken Thighs:
6 chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Avocado Sauce:
1 cup fresh cilantro
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 avocado
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp agave (or sweetener of choice)
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Mix baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Rub chicken with avocado oil, then coat with seasoning mix.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place chicken skin-side down in the basket, leaving space between pieces.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
- For the sauce: blend cilantro, Greek yogurt, avocado, garlic, lime juice, agave, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve chicken with avocado sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
