Ingredients

Chicken Thighs:

6 chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)

2 tbsp avocado oil

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Avocado Sauce:

1 cup fresh cilantro

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 avocado

1 garlic clove

2 tbsp lime juice

2 tbsp agave (or sweetener of choice)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Rub chicken with avocado oil, then coat with seasoning mix.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place chicken skin-side down in the basket, leaving space between pieces.
  6. Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  7. For the sauce: blend cilantro, Greek yogurt, avocado, garlic, lime juice, agave, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  8. Serve chicken with avocado sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
