Description

A creamy and naturally sweet latte made with blended banana, milk, and a splash of vanilla, poured over chilled coffee or espresso with ice for a refreshing twist on your usual brew.

Ingredients

1 ripe banana

12 oz (350 ml) milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)

½ tsp pure vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

Optional sweetener (dates, maple syrup, honey)

Brewed coffee or espresso, cooled

Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the ripe banana, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  2. If desired, add a dash of cinnamon or sweetener (dates, maple syrup, or honey) and blend again to combine.
  3. Brew a shot of espresso or your preferred coffee and allow it to cool slightly.
  4. Fill a glass with ice, pour the cooled coffee over the ice, then gently pour the banana milk on top to create a layered effect.
  5. Stir before drinking if you prefer a blended latte. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Use a ripe banana for best flavor and natural sweetness.
  • Layer gently for a visual presentation, or stir for uniform taste.
  • Blend again if banana milk is stored and separates.
  • Add vanilla or spice for extra depth of flavor.
