Description

A charming no-bake treat that turns simple wafer cookies into playful pencil-shaped snacks—perfect for classroom parties, lunchbox surprises, or teacher appreciation goodies.

Ingredients

Wafer cookies (vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate)

White melting chocolate (vanilla-flavored)

Pink or red-tinted melting chocolate

Mini chocolate chips (for pencil “lead”)

Instructions

  1. Trim wafers: Cut one end of each wafer diagonally on both sides to form a pencil point with a small flat edge for the chocolate chip.
  2. Melt white chocolate: Melt in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. Create pencil tip: Dip pointed end into white chocolate, then press a mini chocolate chip at the tip. Place on parchment-lined tray and chill 5–10 minutes.
  4. Make eraser: Tint remaining white chocolate with pink/red food coloring (or use pre-colored melts). Dip the flat end into pink chocolate and chill 5–10 minutes.
  5. Clean edges: Trim excess chocolate with a knife for neat lines if needed.
  6. Enjoy: Once set, serve or package as fun back-to-school treats.

Notes

  • Use strawberry or chocolate wafers for variety.
  • Tint eraser chocolate with school colors for personalization.
  • Add edible glitter or sanding sugar for sparkle.
  • Attach a metallic candy strip to mimic the ferrule for extra detail.
