Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Add shrimp and toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high and oil lightly.
- Thread shrimp onto skewers if desired. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Remove shrimp from grill and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.
