Description

This 3-ingredient oven-baked Cajun chicken is juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to prepare. With just butter, Cajun seasoning, and chicken, you’ll have a delicious dinner ready in under 40 minutes.


Ingredients

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon salt-free Cajun seasoning blend

1 teaspoon kosher salt

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds total)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and position rack in the middle.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Cajun seasoning, and kosher salt until combined.
  3. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Place in a 9×13-inch baking dish, leaving space between each piece.
  4. Brush chicken all over with the spiced butter mixture.
  5. Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until chicken is golden-brown and reaches 165°F on an instant-read thermometer. Start checking at 20 minutes for doneness.
  6. Rest chicken for 5 minutes before serving.
